Artist Zhou Tao explores an abandoned construction site in Guangzhou, China, and discusses finding inspiration for his work in the "semi-ecosystem" that has arisen there. He also visits the location of a 2015 landslide in the Chinese city of Shenzhen that was caused by industrial activity—one of the sites that inspired his video installation "Land of the Throat" (2016).
